Outdoor Motion Sensor Decorative Lights. In most cases, you won't even be able to tell that these are motion lights! The include numerous styles of lights to fit your exact home style and need, and fit perfectly next to a door or entry way to provide great convenience and security of a motion light, while still keeping with the beauty and style of your home decor. Decorative motion lights don't provide spotlight-type lighting that you will find with a motion flood light, and work perfectly at a front, side or back door. In these cases, you won't normally want your vistors hit with the direct light spotlight that you get from a flood light!
Some of the key highlights of Outdoor Decorative Motion Sensor Lights:
- Beautiful, versatile styling and design to fit your home decor
- Replace traditional front and side door non-motion lights, keeping beauty and adding security
- Provide motion light convenience without the spotlight effect of a Motion Flood Light
- Leave front door light 'always on' to automatically light when someone approaches after dusk
- Easy installation
Outdoor Motion Sensor Flood Lights. These lights do what they sound like they would do - they provide directed flood lighting to a specific area (or areas) of your yard. Usually containing two separately adjustable flood lights, these lights give you lighting in a targeted area that you want to have covered by lighting triggered by motion. I also find that these flood lights give good lighting coverage to the area around and near the light fixture.
For example, I have a motion sensor flood light installed near my rear garage door. The two flood light bulbs are aimed into my yard, giving good lighting coverage to specific areas I have targeted when the light turns on. I take my dog out in the evening using this door, so after dark, as I walk out the door with my dog, the light automatically comes on, giving me full light coverage in the area where we go. Even though the flood light bulbs are aimed out into the yard, I find that I still get good lighting around the door area - plenty to give good lighting for a person to enter/exit the door. Because of the way I use this door and light, the motion flood light works perfectly for me. I get the targeted light of the flood lights, the light around the door area and entry way, and the convenience and security of the motion light. In this case, a decorative motion light would not give me the targeted flood light out into my yard, which is what I need in this case for times when I take my dog out, but also because I want this light to provide maximum lighting coverage in case the light triggers at night to scare off unwaned animals or intruders!
Some other benefits and highlights of Outdoor Motion Sensor Flood Lights:

Either way, motion detector lights give you great benefits of convenience and security, while providing energy savings of only using the light when you most need it!
